Syndication and debt placement

The Syndication and Debt Placement team (“SDP”) is KBC Bank’s centre of competence for arranging, underwriting and distributing syndicated loans. SDP has a worldwide presence, with over 30 people working in London, Brussels, Frankfurt, Prague, Warsaw, Budapest, New York, and two centres in the Asia Pacific region, i.e. Hong Kong (also the regional headquarter) and Singapore.

SDP - Asia Pacific employs a group of 4 product specialists, covering all aspects of the syndicated loan process, including origination, distribution, documentation and secondary loan trading. 

SDP works extremely closely with relevant relationship teams to produce solutions that meet the strategic goals of each individual client. Organisations can access short and medium term onshore and offshore financing on competitive terms for general corporate funding and capital expenditure requirement. 

SDP has a specific target and track record of being a “Partner of Choice” for both borrowers and lenders, and has excellent market relations with and successfully works together with other syndication teams in order to meet the strategic goals of the borrower and successfully conclude transactions.
